The Annunciation Celebration, held at the Living Word Center, was done in Taize style with prayer and song. Judy Harrington, SLW Associate, led the designed and lead the prayer. Her daughter, Jamie Markin, provided the music. Robin Shornden, ASLW, and her friend, Kathy Thomas, opened the prayer with a liturgical dance making the setting for the prayer. The participants listened to the Gospel story of the Annunciation and shared insights. Then as a commitment to what they had just heard they light candles. The candle lighting is a part of the Taize style prayer.

The afternoon concluded with a sharing of refreshments.
