Kris Andersen enters Novitiate

On August 12, 2007, the SLW and the Andersen family gathered to pray and celebrate Kristine's entrance into the Novitiate.  The prayer service was prepared by Kristine and her Candidate Director, Kristine Vorenkamp, SLW.  The theme of the service was membership in the household of God taken from the scripture reading, Ephesians 2: 19 - 22.  During the prayer, Kristine A. was anointed by her new Novitiate Director, Carrie Miller, SLW and Kristine A. anointed Carrie to signify the mutual work of the Holy Spirit for both Kris' journey deeper in her call and the SLW Community sharing of their Mission and life.  The new novice receives the pin showing her membership in the SLW Community and the SLW Constitutions which are the bases of the study of the time in Novitiate.  The Andersen family was present to join in the prayer and reception.
