On Saturday, April 28, 2007, Sister Lisa Polega, SLW renewed her commitment to vowed religious life.  This renewal took place at the Living Word Center in Arlington Heights within the context of a prayer service prepared by Lisa herself.  Many Sisters of the Living Word, along with members of Lisa’s family and friends, were present to witness Lisa’s renewal of vows.  The celebration continued with a reception following the ceremony.  This occasion provided all of us with an opportunity to renew our own life commitments to carry out our mission “to reflect and affirm the Word in the world.”  It was truly a joyful day for the Sisters of the Living Word.
