Perpetual Vows - Lisa Polega
On July 19, Lisa Polega, SLW professed perpetual vows as a Sister of the Living Word. Sisters, Associates, family and friends joined the evening Liturgy to celebrate with Lisa. Lisa describes the evening in the words of the SLW Vision Statement, “This profession signifies my willingness, with God’s help, to lean into life’s unfolding revelation.” Lisa recently completed her degree in theology and Christian ethics which she is using in the Peace and Justice Office of the Diocese of Joliet.
