Sr.
Consilia was born August 12, 1925 in Evanston,
Illinois. She received her degree from DePaul University
in Chicago.
Consilia was a history teacher in elementary and high school.
She later received a Masters in Counseling for high school.
At her last two places of ministry, she taught art.
Consilia's name is so closely connected with art. She will long be remembered for her beautiful art in
community documents and note cards. One of the pictures in
her photo album was of one of her birthday cakes that was
decorated with the words: YOU COLORED OUR LIVES. Her
art will long be a reminder of that.
Consilia died December 9, 1988 from a brain hemorrhage.
She is buried in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
