Sr. Victoranne (Nancy Ann) Manikowski, SLW

March 27, 1935 - June 28, 1994

Sr. Victoranne was born March 27, 1935 in Detroit, MI.  She received her BS in Humanities from Loyola University in Chicago, IL and her AA in Library Science at Rosary College in River Forest, IL.

Victoranne ministered all of life in the field of education.  She was primarily an elementary teacher and librarian.  Her last ministry was in a high school library where she was much loved.

She lived deeply the call to simplicity found in the SLW Vision Statement.  Her material possessions were few and those were genuine evidence of Vicki's lifestyle.  Her abrupt entry into the hospital on February 18 left her no time to return home and "make order".  Vicki had great feeling for others and shared her meager belongings in her extension to the less fortunate.

Sr. Victoranne died on June 28, 1994 and is buried in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.

Sr. Victoranne ministered at the following locations:

St. Boniface, St. Louis, MO

St. Boniface, Piqua, OH

St. Teresa, Chicago, IL

Immaculate Heart, New Orleans, LA
